Copenhague (Danemark) à Eslöv (Suède) - Copenhagen (Denmark) to Eslöv (Sweden)

Une fois la visite de Copenhague terminée, me voilà dans le train qui passe dans le tunnel qui relie le Danemark à la Suède (il n'y a pas de pont, c'est le seul moyen de traverser). Une fois arrivé à Malmö, je me procure une carte de la région mais je m'aperçois qu'il va m'être difficile de voyager en Suède car même si quelques installations ont été mises en place pour les cyclistes, le réseau routier est tout-de-même pensé pour les automobiles et donc vers les autoroutes. Bref, j'en profite pour visiter Malmö qui est une ville bien plus grande que je ne pensais. Elle contient un quartier avant-gardiste (orienté énergies renouvelables, design et modernisme, ponctué par une tour pivotante au style assez étrange). La vieille ville est sympa aussi.

Je me suis ensuite dirigé vers Lund qui s'annonçait être une ville plus intéressante au niveau historique. Oui mais voilà, mon amie la pluie qui m'avait laissé tranquille pendant un bon moment est réapparue... et quelle retour !!! A peine entré dans la ville, il s'est mis à pleuvoir des cordes. Je me suis abrité sous le premier abri sur ma route. Là, j'ai discuté avec un couple aussi piégé, qui faisaient une promenade à vélo. Lorsque la pluie s'est arrêtée, ils m'ont accompagné jusqu'à la sortie de la ville. Dommage car ils m'ont fait éviter le centre historique de Lund. Mais bon, la pluie m'avait refroidi... donc j'ai pédalé jusqu'à Eslöv en zigzagant entre et au travers des villages pour éviter l'autoroute.

Me voilà arrivé à Eslöv, où m'attend la famille Henning. La famille est composée de Camilla, une collègue de ma cousine Nanou (que je remercie au passage pour m'avoir mis en relation avec eux), Anders et leurs enfants, Felix et Helen. Les Henning m'ont réservé un magnifique accueil ! Moi qui avait été un peu déçu de ne finalement rencontrer personne à Copenhague, je renoue avec le contact social. Nous passerons un super moment, entre l'apéritif, le repas, le récit de mes aventures. Je vais aussi prendre une bonne douche et surtout dormir dans un vrai lit, sans vent, sans pluie, sans ronflement, sans insectes ,etc.

Mon moral est remonté à bloc grâce à cette famille généreuse et agréable ! Je les remercie une fois de plus pour leur accueil ! Ils savent qu'ils sont les bienvenus en Alsace. Maintenant, direction le Sud-Est de la Suède.

Once the visit of Copenhagen finished, here I am in the train that take the tunnel that links Denmark and Sweden (there is no bridge, it's the only way to go across). Once arrived in Malmö, I get a map of the region and I realise that it will be difficult to cycle through Sweden because even if some facilities have been set up for cyclists, the roads network has still been designed for cars, and so towards motorways. Anyway, I take the opportunity to visit Malmö, which is a lot bigger that I expected. It contains a futuristic district (orientated towards renewable energies, art design and modernism, referenced by a twisty tower with a weird style). The old city is nice too.

Then I headed towards Lund, which was supposed to be a lot more interesting in terms of history. Yes but see, my dear friend the rain who left me alone for a while came back in a radical manner. As soon as I got into the city, it started to rain heavily. I had to stop and get a roof a soon as possible. I found one and strated to discuss with this couple who were stuck too during their little cycling neighbor tour. When the rain stopped, they cycled with me out of the city. What a shame because they avoided the city center of Lund. But well, the rain kind of cooled me down in the bad sense... so I then cycled to Eslöv in zigzags between and through towns to avoid taking the motorway.

So, here I am in Elsöv, where the Henning family is waiting for me. The family is composed of Camilla, who is a colleague of Nanou my cousin (that I thank so much for putting me in touch with them), Anders and their children Felix and Helen. The Hennings gave me a very warm welcome ! I was disappointed in Copenhague that I did not meet any people so I got socially friendly again. We will have a wonderful evening, with the aperitif, the meal, my adventure stories, etc. I will also be able to take a nice shower but most of all, I'll sleep in a real bed with no wind, no rain, no others' snoring, no bugs, etc.

My mental is fully charged again  thanks to this wonderful and generous family. I need to thank them once more for their welcoming. They know they will be welcome in Alsace. Now, direction to the South-East of Sweden.
