It's after passing the border and a night of bus quite exhausting that I make a 6 hours stopover in Chiclayo in Peru. In the bus, I got on well with a Peruvian guy, Luis, who really will to show me his city, the time of my stopover. I follow him with pleasure even if the city has nothing really charming, let's face it. But, I will savor my first Peruvian Ceviche in the market, for 5 Soles (around 1.8 USD), a real delight !! And this one is accompanied by some Chicha Morada (drink made out of black corn), it looked like red wine, it's the first time I see this, and it's delicious as well.

Then another night of bus until Lima where is waiting for me Guillermo, the brother of Andrea, who is the wife of Dom, my friend that I know since my studies in Liverpool. You're with me ? Anyway, I will spend two weeks at his place. He lives with Tio Julio (uncle Julio). I will visit the Real Felipe fortress...

... discover the city and notably the historical centre (cathedral, house of the President, etc)...

... and the shore where we will have a run (with Rafo, Guillermo's cousin) and where I'll be doing some surf.
